Detailed Casablanca Tour itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca arrival

The arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, is the beginning. You are transferred by the team to your accommodation. Your arrival time differs, but if time is enough we visit the city including an optional visit to the Hassan II, one of the most known religious buildings. Dinner and overnight are served at hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

Today we travel to Rabat, we discover Medina of Rabat, also KASBAH OUDAYAS; the fort of victory built by Almoravid dynasty in the 11th century, Hassan tower and the Alouite Mausoleum, later the Challa necropolis to admire the harmonic mixed of the Phoenicians, roman, and Islamic architecture, later on you will be on the cost to visit the KASABAH Mahdiya the old Portuguese port and fort still standing partially in a beautiful panoramic hill dominating the delta of Sabou river, later you will be driving between the fertile fields of Gharb, one of the agricultural large lands of Morocco, driving through the groves of the RIF mountains and by the city Ouazzan famous with the typical Moroccan coat “JELLABA”. Later in the afternoon you will attend the sunset in the outdoors of the blue city CHEFCHAOUEN. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast and a last short walk in the narrow streets of the medina , before you leave in direction of the glorious city of the 8th century Fes, you are invited to a short hike for one hour in the ruins of Volubilis it is one of the old cities of that was influenced by the existence of the Romans in north of AFRICA in all forms of life , a city that provided a lot of agricultural products to Rome; olive oil, olives, vegetables, wheat, and the famous Ceder wood, later on you are driving ahead to visit the 17th century capital Meknes, with its beautiful gate BAB MANSOUR, the mausoleum of moulay ISMAIL the founder, the granaries, and the reservoir of water SEOUANI; it is recommended to go on a short walk in its peaceful medina. By the late afternoon you will drive Fes; overnight in Fes.

Day 4: Fes excursion in medina

Day 5: Fes to Merzouga via Midelt

Tour in Morocco continues and we leave for Midelt through the Mountains and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas. We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. We arrive in Midelt for lunch. At the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert. You will have a camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you will spend the evening in a bivouac (desert camp). There you will enjoy a Berber dinner, and sleep in traditional Nomad camel hair tent. Enjoy the tour in Morocco with experienced guides and drivers.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert Excursion

Today we continue tour from Casablanca and we visit the Gnawa people – originaly from Mali, Senegal and Sudan- in their village Khamlia , where you will learn about their music and their lifestyle . In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

Day 7: Merzouga - Todra - Dades Gorge

Tour from Casablanca to Sahara with Morocco Trips (trusted travel company). Today we’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the option to hike for an hour within the valley, where you will meet locals and learn about the culture and geography. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, you will continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Our accommodation will be a fancy guest house with dinner and breakfast.

Day 8: Dades - Skoura - Ouarzazate

Today we continue tour through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna which is the centre of Roses valley. We continue to Skoura and we explore Ouarzazatte where we may visit local movie studio. In the city we explore kasbah . Overnight in a riad with dinner and breakfast.

Day 9: Ouarzazate - Atlas mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast we will depart to Ait Benhaddou and visit the World Heritage Site. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech Excursion

After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. Dinner will be served in the Riad.

Day 11: Airport Transfer

Breakfast and transfer to the Airport of Marrakech or Casablanca for departure.
